Welcome to WorkClock HQ (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using the WorkClock HQ mobile application, web platform, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.


1. Description of Service

WorkClock HQ provides a digital workforce management solution that enables organizations to track attendance, manage staff clock-in activities, monitor locations, and generate operational reports.

The mobile application is used for staff clock-in/out, while the web platform is used for administrative management.


2. Eligibility

By using WorkClock HQ, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or
  • You are authorized by an organization to use the Service on its behalf

3. User Accounts

  • Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false or misleading information.


4. Data Collection and Usage

WorkClock HQ collects and processes certain data, including but not limited to:

  • Personal information (e.g., name, email)
  • Location data (for clock-in validation)
  • Device and usage data
  • Organizational and business data

By using the Service, you consent to the collection and processing of such data for operational purposes.

Organizations using WorkClock HQ are responsible for:

  • Informing their staff about data collection
  • Obtaining any required consent under applicable laws

5. Location Tracking

Certain features require access to device location services to verify clock-in authenticity.

  • Location data may be collected in real-time or based on device capability
  • Offline clock-in may rely on device-generated coordinates
  • Accuracy of location data may vary based on device and network conditions

WorkClock HQ is not responsible for inaccuracies in location tracking.


6. Payments, Billing, and Renewals

  • WorkClock HQ operates on a subscription-based model
  • Invoices will be issued periodically based on your selected plan
  • Payment must be made on or before the due date indicated on the invoice

Failure to make payment may result in:

  • Suspension or restriction of services
  • Loss of access to certain features
  • Possible data removal after a defined period

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.


7. Refund Policy

All payments made are non-refundable except where explicitly stated or required by law.

Any refund requests will be reviewed at our sole discretion.


8. Service Availability

We strive to ensure high availability of the Service. However:

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Temporary downtime may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, or external factors

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • WorkClock HQ shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service
  • We are not responsible for:
    • Loss of business data
    • Inaccurate attendance records due to device, network, or user error
    • Operational decisions made based on data from the Service

Use of the Service is at your own risk.


10. Data Responsibility

Organizations are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of the data they input
  • How they use reports generated from the platform
  • Compliance with local data protection and labor laws

WorkClock HQ acts only as a tool provider and does not assume responsibility for internal organizational processes.


11. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

  • Misuse or attempt to manipulate the system
  • Provide false clock-in data
  • Interfere with the platform’s performance or security

We reserve the right to suspend accounts involved in misuse.


12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service:

  • For violation of these Terms
  • For non-payment
  • At our discretion where necessary to protect the platform

13. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, update, or discontinue any part of the Service
  • Change pricing, features, or functionality at any time

Users will be notified where necessary.


14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
